Working father, generic geek and ex-messenger with a PhD in ultrahigh resolution tomography. I've been doing tomography at a Synchrotron beamline, now I work in a group where we have access to two desktop microCT machines and do (pretty much exclusively) biomedical reasearch. We study angiogenesis and how this influences tumor growth, so I look at a lot of blood vessel scans I'm also interested in studying the mammalian lung, healthy and deseased.
