Module Description
Volume Rendering allows the rendering of volumes in 3D view in semi transparent mode, potentially combined with the models in one scene.
Usage
- Use "Load and Save" panel to select a volume to render, select predefined parameter sets and save your custom settings.
- Use "Performance" panel to select different rendering techniques: GPU Ray Casting, OpenGL Polygon Blending, and CPU Ray Casting. Generally the CPU Ray Casting produces most accurate images. The GPU Ray Casting produces the same image with the CPU Ray Casting at interactive rate. Both GPU Ray Casting and OpenGL Polygon Blending try to meet user expected interactive framerate by automatically adjusting internal sample distances.
