Module Description
This module corrects the intensity inhomogeneity in a MRI image. This filtering operation is important as a pre-processing step for many segmentation algorithms. The module can process 2D and 3D images and can show the bias field that has been estimated. Parameters:
- Iterations: Increase the number of iterations for a better estimation of the bias field.
- Fitting Levels: A higher fitting level might improve the bias field correction at the cost of a longer processing time.
Caveat: For large values of the parameters, the processing time on large images can reach one hour.
