The segmentation of a cerebral aneurysm and its connecting vessels using the VMTKEasyLevelSetSegmentation module is shown in this screencast. Two fiducial points are used to border the segmented area inside the region of interest as input for the Fast Marching segmentation.
Please note that this method might not be applicable segmenting for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) because of leakage - for CFD please look at the following tutorials: Segmenting an aneurysm using the VMTKLevelSetSegmentation module and Using only the evolution stage of the VMTKEasyLevelSetSegmentation module
